It is time once again for the Golden Rivers Rapier Championship and Collegium! Our Champion Justin has decided it shall be a "meat grinder" style tournament with sword and buckler. The two top scoring fighters will go to finals with their best weapons. In addition to the fighting, we have several classes planned including, horse breeds and tack, maolica tile glazing, how to run a list and more! There will also be a bbq at the end of the day. Golden Rivers will supply hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, mustard and ketchup. Please bring your own side dishes.
Site Information: Site is open from 10am-7pm There is no site fee, but donations are appreciated and there may be a silent auction during the even to help raise funds.

Our champion Gunther and his Lady Juliana have guided our fair Province of Golden Rivers during the past year. Now come and see who will be their heirs by right of combat on the list field. Tournament to be followed by a potluck feast to celebrate.

Come and celebrate the anniversary of Golden Rivers with feasting, dancing and frolic. The feast will be from recipes Russian in nature. There will also be a silent auction, toys for tots drop off and dancing, if time permits.

Directions: Take Hwy 50 to Watt Ave. Go North. Turn right on Fair Oaks Blvd. Follow until you get to Engle. Turn left on Engle. Go to La Sierra Community Center. Enter at the first driveway. Stay on the right and follow around the buildings to Gibbons. Turn left. The room is immediately on the left. There will be signs to follow. The Good People of Golden Rivers invite one and all to join them for their Rapier Championship, and A & S Collegium! Come spend a day with friends, old and new, watching the fighting prowess of the West Kingdoms Rapier Fighters! Cheer you favorites on, as they move with skill and grace, while facing their opponents!
And in between the fighting, you will also be able to partake in a number of classes and activities that will broaden your A &S Horizons! Classes are still being formed, so look for more details soon! If you are interested in teaching a class, please contact the Autocrat!
Afterwards, the Province will be hosting a Pot-Luck BBQ. Bring a dish to share! There will be a charcoal grill available for cooking, but no electricity for crock-pots.

Site Rules: As in previous years, there are certain terms with which we had to agree to rent the property.
1. No Ground Fires. Only contained, attended, and above-ground fires with a fire extinguisher within 20 feet are allowed.
2. We are restricted to areas we have rented. Do not go into the hills or woods surrounding the site. This is where the owner has put the sheep for the duration of the event.
3. Absolutely NO pets are allowed on site. NO exceptions.
There is no guarantee of water on site, so please make sure you bring water for drinking and washing. The water that IS on site (spigots and creek) is not potable.
Several classes will be offered for non-fighters as our new Champion is selected by right of Arms.
